FurstStaffing is supporting the seasonal hiring for Ebates Beloit.   Ebates Beloit is hiring Member Services Representatives on a variety of full-time and part-time schedules (weekdays and weekends).  Ebates Beloit is a 24/7 facility and requires working one weekend day and holidays.   There is an opportunity for hire-on at the end of the project.

Ebates Beloit offers an awesome work environment.  This is a two story, loft, brick building right along the river in downtown Beloit.  There is side-by-side seating, no wall, no cubicles.  All desks are adjustable to a standing desk or a seated desk.  Ebates Beloit recently asked their team what they liked about working at Ebates Beloit: “Great Workplace & Great People” were the primary responses.  Each weekday, lunch is available for the team.  There are snacks and beverages available as well.  And during the great weather months, there is a deck overlooking the river.  Not to mention:  foosball, ping pong, and a great lounge area.  While it is a casual environment…they are not casual about work.

What skills are needed to be successful as a Member Service Representative?

  • Must be tech savvy.
  • Able to toggle between multiple screens/platforms quickly and accurately
  • Understanding of keyboard shortcuts is very important
  • Able to focus.  It is a distracting environment at times and it is important to keep working when distractions occur.
  • Detail focused/accuracy matters.
  • Good with problem solving – collecting data to make decisions.
  • Independent & self-starter.
  • Okay with repetitive work (same thing day in & day out).
  • Flexible to change, as things change all the time.  Need to be able to roll with change and do things in a new way.
  • VERY strong data entry skills and professional communication.
  • Good with a calculator and percentages.

What does a Member Service Representative do?

Ebates Beloit Members will receive email inquires (95%) or phone inquires (5%) as to where their money is or something related to their membership with Ebates.  These inquiries are positioned in a queue.  The Member Service Representative will resolve problems by clarifying members’ requests, questions and complaints.   This will involve research and notation in multiple software programs and/or websites.

Ebates Beloit Member Service Representatives are expected to answer 180-200 email inquiries per day.  Personalization and professionalism is a must in the communication with Members.

Ebates Beloit provides a well organized training for incoming Member Service Representatives.  The training includes both classroom discussions and education as well as working on the floor shadowing individuals and being shadowed.  Training is on-going with follow-up sessions about every other week.

Member Service Representatives earn $12.50 per hour worked.  A variety of shifts are available.
